PUAH LLC is a newly rebranded company that began in 2017 under its original name The O-LIV-e A-Peel Co. LLC. The name may have changed but the standards and quality remain the same.  Founded by licensed pharmacist Dr. Rachel McClain, PUAH is a natural skin treatment brand that utilizes the pharmacological properties of African, Caribbean and Brazilian plants, herbs and spices to scientifically address both common and rare skin problems. Unlike many companies that mass-produce nice-smelling products that only help temporarily, PUAH aims to solve skin problems for good. PUAH strives to embody the values of resilience, modesty and scientific thinking. The overall approach of PUAH is from a pharmacodynamics perspective. We study each ingredient to determine what it does to the body and how it will affect the functioning of the body, in pharmaceutical terms we look at “the mechanism of action”. The undertone at PUAH Is one of a “modern apothecary”. What it offers that others don't? A product that works! Without the preservatives, chemicals and parabens. We have strived to go above and beyond to create an authentically natural skin care line.

What does the name mean?
In the Bible, Puah was a nurse midwife in the Book of Exodus. She was resilient! She defied the odds set against her and followed the laws of God. Much like her resiliency, our skin has that same resilient nature, and with care it can bounce back after damage.  PUAH is creating one of a kind unique blends not seen before on the market. PUAH's mission is to deliver treatments that truly work for those who have tried everything else!
